IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
a) Read all instructions.
b) To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put the machine in water or other liquid.
c) This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they are closely supervised and instructed concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
d) Turn the appliance OFF, then unplug from the outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord. Make sure appliance is OFF when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning
e) Avoid contacting moving parts. Do not attempt to defeat any safety interlock mechanisms.
f) Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact the manufacturer through the website www.podmkr.com for information on examination, repair, or adjustment.
g) The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
h) Do not use outdoors. Never expose the machine to weather (rain, snow, frost).
i) Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
j) Do not let cord contact hot surface, including the stove.
k) Before using the top coffee bean hopper, ensure it is free of foreign objects.
l) Do not operate PodMkr without the hopper lid.
Warning: Do not remove the bottom cover to reduce the risk of fire and electric shock. No user-serviceable parts inside. Repair should be done by authorized service personnel only!
This product is intended for household use only.
Polarized instructions:
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
- Arrange the cord so it doesn’t drape over the countertop or tabletop where children could pull it or cause tripping hazards.
If the power cord is broken, you must contact the staff in service of manufactory or the similar one to replace it for your safe.
- Do not use the machine if it is not operating perfectly or if there is evidence of damage. In such case, take the machine to an authorized dealer for checking and repair.
- For better use of your machine, it is recommended to rest for 1 minute before using it when the machine has been working continuously for 1 minute.
